Jamaican man knifed his wife to death in UK 'over her nagging'

Crazed Desmond Brooks, 42,killed his wife and left two other women for dead when he became sick of their "disrespectful" behaviour and armed himself with knives.

The Jamaican national launched into the "ferocious" 35-minute rampage of bloody violence at two flats in Brixton, south London, on the evening of July 29 2013, killing his wife Keisha McKenzie.

He was jailed for life with a minimum of 29 years at the Old Bailey today after pleading guilty to murdering his wife.

He was also sentenced to 19 years for the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend plus 12 years for inflicting grievous bodily harm on his sister-in-law, all to run concurrently.
